![]() ![]() Those were the only 2 showing.Īfter I killed again and restarted I selected to start a new session. At that point it showed 2 tabs it was attempting to restore, Duck Duck Go and a page with a web cam that had been open. To test I selected restore, and it crashed. When I started it again I got the option of restoring the prior session or starting a new one. Firefox locked up on start, so I killed it. I also had to disable adblock plus on an up to date Mageia 2 system. (Firefox's internal update feature did not work.) You could just use your manual install until ESR 17 gets bumped up. The only issue I believe I had was that I had to update manually. # tar axvf /home/%USER%/Downloads/%FF_FILE% I have done this with Mageia w/o issue by executing the following: If MGA2 does not, you can install them manually. I know MGA3 gives you the option of either going w/Stable, Beta or Aurora. ![]() If I were you I would try either Stable, Beta, or the ESR RC. Also Mozilla has release Firefox ESR 17 as a Release Candidate. In fact I used Aurora for a while and preferred it to stable but not beta. Now I run Cauldron and other various alpha/beta software so I like the bug-fixes in Beta. They actually have 5 different release channels:Ģ- Aurora (Rolling Alpha release, not unlike Cauldron) Currently at 18.0 alpha 2ģ- Beta's (I Actually find this channel to work the best) Currently at 17 If you want to allow blocking on multiple domains the filter has too look like this: I am the lead developer of Adblock Plus.TBH I've always felt that Mozilla's ESR 10x channel to be unsatisfactory for a variety of reasons. That's actually easier if you click the "Edit filters as raw text" at the bottom of the "Add your own filters" tab. This will automatically change the filter you've added into something like if you are on Chrome or Opera, there is currently no way to do that automatically - you will have to go into Adblock Plus options and edit the filter manually. Click the cross symbol in the upper-right corner of the blockable items list or press Ctrl+Shift+V again to close blockable items.Choose "Disable this filter on " where is the site you are on.There will be only one entry, right-click it.Choose "Open blockable items" from the menu (you can also press Ctrl+Shift+V).When on the website, click the Adblock Plus icon.Currently that's significantly simpler in Firefox: The tricky part is updating the filter whenever you want to allow blocking on a particular website. Enter the filter into the text field and click "Add filter".Click "Add filter" button on the right and enter this filter. ![]()
